CAREER
Arturo Brena was born and raised in Mexico City, before settling in New York for the past 15 years. He started his career as a 3D Animator and Graphics Artist and considers himself a multimedia artist, with a fascination for shadow sculpture and a particular interest in storytelling.
He developed as a creative director in the TV and film industry, where he has been awarded multiple times including an EMMY for innovation. He is also the founder and creative director of KEEXFRAME an animation studio focused in TV and film work. With work experience in countries such as the USA, Mexico, Germany, Greece, and Israel, Arturo brings a multicultural perspective to his storytelling style.
His sculpting work has been displayed at prestigious venues such as Anderson Contemporary NYC, The Lodge Gallery, and Telemundo.
He utilizes light, shadow, and volumetric figures as his primary mediums, resulting in a cohesive and impactful piece that seamlessly blends the visual and conceptual.
In addition to his sculpture work, Arturo also explores other art forms including music, jewelry, and drawing.
